The Government of India has announced a new scheme for skill development to enhance the employability of youth. The scheme, titled 'Skill India Mission', aims to provide vocational training to 10 million youth over the next 5 years. The scheme will focus on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity, and will provide training in areas such as healthcare, finance, and tourism. The scheme will be implemented in partnership with industry leaders and will provide a stipend of Rs. 5,000 per month to trainees. The scheme is expected to enhance the employability of youth and contribute to the growth of the economy.
